Strategic Acquisition of Warehouse (December)
Hemas Pharmaceuticals has recently finalised its purchase of a modern 35,000 square foot warehouse located on 180 perches of prime property in Elakanda, Wattala. This investment has been made in line with the company's future growth plans: to further strengthen its position as the largest pharmaceutical, surgical and diagnostic products importer and distributor in Sri Lanka, and provide better service to all its stakeholders, including patients, by preserving the quality and safety of the pharmaceuticals, surgical and diagnostic products imported and distributed by the company.
Commenting on the acquisition, the Managing Director of Hemas Pharmaceuticals Sanjeewa Samaranayake said that their investment in this state-of-the-art warehouse will further enable them to develop and increase the efficiency of their operations throughout the supply chain and ultimately benefit the end-user of the products by ensuring quality and efficacy.
